Bajaj Auto, the world’s most valuable two-wheeler and three-wheeler company, has made a significant commitment towards transforming the lives of the youth of India by providing them with the best-in-class manufacturing skills training through their new CSR initiative BEST: Bajaj Engineering Skills Training.
Program, aims to enhance the skills of engineering and diploma graduates in the latest technologies relevant to Industry 4.0. The program has successfully inaugurated its flagship centre in Pune, enrolling 120 students. It is now scaling up with a plan to establish 15 centres across India.

The design concept for the entrance lobby of colleges hosting the Bajaj engineering skills training program is meticulously curated to incorporate cutting-edge elements that reflect the advancements of Industry 4.0. Within this innovative space, the prominent blue patch not only serves as a visual representation of Bajaj's distinctive branding colour but also symbolizes its commitment to technological excellence. Positioned strategically above this focal point are various elements chosen to symbolize different aspects of Industry 4.0, including automation, robotics, and sensor technology. Through the integration of these modern technologies, the lobby serves as a testament to Bajaj's commitment to engineering innovation. More than just a welcoming area, it offers students a glimpse into Bajaj's ethos of nurturing their skills and preparing them for the future of manufacturing.

Entrance Lobby

As part of the internal branding project for the Bajaj Engineering Skill Training program at the college, the curriculum has been meticulously crafted to align with future-centric modules. These modules include mechatronics, motion control and sensor technology, robotics and automation, as well as Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing. Within these modules, there are 16 world-class labs designed to facilitate hands-on learning experiences.
Collaborating closely with the Bajaj team, extensive research has been conducted on these modules, enabling a comprehensive understanding of industrial machinery and technologies. Each aspect of the curriculum has been carefully designed to reflect the specific technology of each lab, incorporating aesthetic elements to create an engaging and visually appealing environment.
In these designs, strong graphics and vibrant colors have been utilized to resonate with the youthful energy of engineering students. The aim is not only to provide academic knowledge but also to foster an informative and creative atmosphere conducive to learning and innovation. Through this internal branding project, the college seeks to reinforce its partnership with Bajaj and enhance the educational experience for its engineering students.

Design

We're designing a set of icons for the signage outside all the labs and classrooms. Our aim is to make sure each icon clearly represents what's inside each lab, so visitors can easily understand what each space is for. We want to make navigating the facility easier and improve everyone's experience there by using a consistent visual style for all the signs.

Icon Design

For the student wall of fame in the Bajaj Engineering Skill Training program, we've opted for a sleek design featuring hexagon shapes and circuit vectors against a blue background to reflect the technological aspect of the program. Within each hexagon, there's space to showcase photos of students, creating a dynamic display that changes with each new batch of the skill training program. This design not only celebrates the achievements of students but also emphasizes the program's focus on technological innovation and advancement.
